The Abaya is a traditional overgarment worn throughout the Middle East. Typically, it is worn over house clothing as a convenience garment (such as a Thobe, Dishdasha, or other clothing.) We offer a great selection of traditional patterns and embroidery styles – all imported direct. Some styles are “pull over” – without buttons, while others are “open” or “shoulder close”. These garments are designed to be worn over clothing – thus they are mostly lightweight fabrics which are suitable for all weather use – and hot temperatures.
